Mafo Naval Closures has more than 25 years of experience designing and manufacturing custom built naval closures, including Personnel Doors, Hatches, Scuttles and Helicopter Hangar Doors for naval vessels. Mafo's Quick Acting Water Tight (QAWT) doors are designed for low or no maintenance, best RCS properties, and ease of installation. Within the US, we are already providing doors for the US Navy LPD-17 and following, DDG 103 and following, and LCS Programs. We've also provided doors for both the Military Sealift Command and the US Coast Guard. Our standard products are quick acting water, weather and gas tight doors, hatches and scuttles, in addition to helicopter hangar doors. Designs vary depending on the clear opening size, pressure ratings and materials required. Mafo has designed and supplied closures for major Naval Ship Programs world-wide including, but not limited to, the navies of: The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Norway, Denmark, France, Malaysia, Australia, Greece, Turkey, United States, Argentina, Oman, and India.
