Dynamic Heat Generators
Island City, LLC designs and manufactures high performance, compact,
mechanically driven kinetic fluid heaters for oil-field, defense, industrial,
food processing, commercial heating, truck and bus applications.
General characteristics of the Dynamic Heat Generator (DHG):
- absorbed power ranges from 5 hp [12,700 BTU/hr] to 850 hp
[2,163,000 BTU/hr].
- Rotating mechanical energy converted in a single-step to
heat fluids directly without exhaust, explosive fuel, flame or high
temperatures
- efficiencies exceeding 95% of input power
- Heaters will
accept any rotating input including:
- PTO
- belt drive
- hydraulic
- electric
motor drives
- Working fluids can be:
- plain water
- oil
- glycol/water
- food
products
- mixtures and many other fluids.
