The Drive Dynamics Military Run Flat technology has set a new standard to extend vehicle performance providing greater safety for the soldier. As the US Army deploys additional wheeled vehicles yearly, Drive Dynamics is ready to support the soldiers by outfitting Army trucks and trailers with their Advanced Military Run Flat Insert System.

The advance in Drive Dynamics’ Military Run Flat technology include characteristics such as:

  • Higher load carrying capacity for HMMWV Up Armor Vehicles
    Capable traveling greater distances, more than 30 miles, in a Run Flat condition
     
  • Improved assembly and serviceability
     
  • Positive locking system for improved traction control
     
  • Better handling and control for steering, braking, and acceleration
     
  • Insert Assembly locked to wheel
    • Prevents Insert segments from slipping
    • Provides vehicle stability under load
       
  • Bead Lock System
    • Easy tire inflation
    • Prevents bead unseating in low pressure conditions
    • Allows tire to slip during run flat condition
       
  • Insert Assembly centered inside tire cavity
    • Directly aligns insert surface with outer tread pattern
